Czech Gold Lion & Slovak Gold Eagle

1) Recognition - Name - Country of Origin
The "Czech Gold Lion" and the "Slovak Gold Eagle" are two globally recognized bullion coins issued by the Czech Mint. While the "Czech Gold Lion" is dedicated to the Bohemian Lion, the national symbol of the Czech Republic, the "Slovak Gold Eagle" symbolizes the majestic stone eagle, which is a national symbol of Slovakia.

2) Description of the Coins
Both coins are made of 999.9 fine gold with a weight of 1.00 oz (31.1 g). They have a diameter of 37 mm and come encapsulated in coin capsules. The obverse of the "Czech Gold Lion" features the Bohemian Lion, surrounded by the inscriptions "ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA" and "1 oz Au 999.9". The "Slovak Gold Eagle" showcases a close-up image of the stone eagle soaring over the Tatra Mountains, with the inscriptions "SLOVAKIA", "1 oz", and "Au 999.9" encircling the eagle.

3) Face Value - Legal Tender – Value
Both coins have a face value of 50 DOLLARS (NZD) and are legal tender in Niue, the issuing country. However, their true value far exceeds the nominal value as they are made of pure gold with a high fineness of 999.9, making them highly sought after by collectors and investors due to their limited mintage.

4) Other Units – Denominations
The "Czech Gold Lion" and "Slovak Gold Eagle" coins are available in various denominations, including 1/25 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 5 oz, and 10 oz. Additionally, both coins are produced in both Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof quality.

5) Special Features - Minting Years - History – Mintage
Issued by the Czech Mint, these coins are prized for their unique designs and limited mintage. The "Czech Gold Lion" pays homage to the Bohemian Lion, a national symbol of the Czech Republic, while the "Slovak Gold Eagle" represents the majestic stone eagle, symbolizing power, victory, freedom, and greatness. With limited mintages, these bullion coins are highly coveted by collectors worldwide. The "Czech Gold Lion" was first issued in 2017, and the "Slovak Gold Eagle" made its debut in 2022.
